Jack Wolfskin Blizzard with Polartec Windbloc

Jack Wolfskin and Polartec are both celebrating a company anniversary this year: Jack Wolfskin is turning 40 and Polartec developed the fleece material 40 years ago. At the same time, the two companies are celebrating 33 years of partnership, for which they have, among other things, jointly developed the completely recycled 3-layer material Polartec Windbloc. Not only are the outer and inner fabrics made from recycled synthetic fibers but Jack Wolfskin’s own Texapore Ecosphere membrane was also integrated, which is made from completely recycled material. The German outdoor company said it will continue to work closely with Polartec, as both companies are pushing the development of sustainable textile solutions with the same vigor.
