Go Sport is launching Go Sport Montagne, a new banner for mountain enthusiasts, just a few months after the launch of another new banner called Bike+. For Go Sport Montagne, the French retailer is looking at 100 franchised stores, which will rely on the network of sporting goods retailers affiliated with Twinner, a French voluntary group that Go Sport took over in 2014. The first 70 Go Sport Montagne shops are expected to operate in ski resorts. They will have a dedicated e-commerce site that will allow consumers to reserve rental skis. The ambassadors of the new concept are Jean-Baptiste Grange and Romane Miradoli, two French World Cup alpine ski racers.
