Patagonia is expanding its presence in the trail-running category, linking up with Krissy Moehl, the ultra runner, and growing its line of trail-running shoes. Moehl and the member s of Patagonia's Ultra Running Team will have a full line of the brand's products to wear for training and competition. The new products include the Fore Runner, Patagonia's lightest trail shoe, weighing in at 7.76 ounces for the women's and 9.17 ounces for the men's. Its 4 millimeter heel-to-toe drop helps maintain a natural stride; the mesh upper lets the foot breathe while the reinforced rand and toe bumper protect it. The sticky rubber outsole provides good traction on rough ground. It has also introduced the Tsali 2.0, which is more cushioned and has a better fit with its lacing system. The anatomical footbed is made from 20 percent recycled products.
