Swedish outdoor chain Naturkompaniet is continuing its expansion in Norway with the opening of a new Fjällräven store in Trondheim.

With Naturkompaniet and Fjällräven heavily focused on a sustainable outdoor life and making products that last, the new store reflects this. Consumers will be able to deliver Fjällräven’s G-1000 products for waxing in the store, and rent outdoor equipment. There are also plans to offer help with proper maintenance and repair in store.

“We have great faith in the combination of e-commerce and physical stores,” says Henrik Hoffman, CEO Naturkompaniet. “With our new Fjällräven brand store in Trondheim, we want to encourage more people to make sensible and sustainable purchases and choose products that last.”

Naturkompaniet currently runs all Fjällräven stores in Norway. There are already plans to expand the store in the spring of 2023 and open an adjacent Naturkompaniet store. Naturkompaniet, along with Globetrotter and Partioaitta, makes up Frilufts Retail Europe AB, which is owned by Fenix Outdoor.
