Adidas has hired a new top manager for its outdoor division. Katja Neumann is now head of individual sports and outdoor for the German-speaking countries. Over the past two years, this job was done by Stephan Guter in addition to his current function as chief of the entire Three-Striped outdoor activities in Europe. Neumann came over from Tchibo, a huge German retailer of coffee. Tchibo also sells many other goods, usually on an occasional basis, including sporting goods, which were managed by Neumann.
