After only a few months in operation, Outdoor Sports Valley (OSV) already has 36 members and is targeting 50 additional memberships in the next few years. Together with the municipalities of Annecy and Chamonix, which are candidates for hosting the Winter Olympics in 2018, OSV applied last month for financial aid from the French government for the development of several collective projects in the region. One of them is the establishment of textile laboratories for clothing and equipment in collaboration with ski training, mountaineering and mountain medicine institutions.
