Allcord, a British distribution company with brands from Camp to Tendon and more, has just started selling Karrimor in the U.K. The British outdoor brand owned by the Sports Direct Internationl group had been handling its own sales in this market since last year, after the failure of its former British distributor, Eurotech Leisure. The company turned up at the OutDoor fair in Friedrichshafen with a new general manager, Garry Bardsley, after the departure of Neil Kennedy two months ago. He left the British outdoor brand to join a German footwear sourcing company in Vietnam. Bardsley has spent many years at Karrimor and in other parts of Sports Direct, most recently at the licensing department of IBML, the group’s brand business.
