Alnisa Sport Group, the Spanish distributor of JanSport, says it achieved record sales of backpacks and daypacks for the brand at the European level in two months through a campaign organized by Aplus Field Marketing at six department stores of El Corte Inglés. Consumers passing in front of a special information point were tracked down by a sensor that triggered a voice message inviting them to interact with a touch-screen display and to compete for a prize. The data on the screen allowed them to determine the type of rucksack that would best fit their characteristics and their needs.
