An executive in the sports industry has been a success away his desk, too. Topher Gaylord, the president of VF Outdoor & Action Sports International, won the Nemea-Olympia Ultra-marathon in Greece in May. The historical 180-kilometer race takes place every two years, and runners have 28 hours to finish the race. Gaylord broke the record in the race with a time of 17 hours and 35 minutes. An athlete sponsored by The North Face, Elke Streicher, had the top time among women and sixth place overall with 22 hours 35 minutes.
