Arc'teryx will open a 55-square-meter showroom at its European headquarters in Annecy, France, on Jan. 17 to present its 2011-12 winter collection. The space will be increased to 110 m² in October to present, with a new concept, the winter 2012-13 collection. Separately, the company, which is part of Salomon and Amer Sports, has appointed Eric Schierl, 39, to be sales manager for Europe for active sportswear. He was previously export manager for the brands Eider and Killy. Schierl will be based in Annecy and cover the French, Austrian, Italian, Benelux and U.K. markets.
