Berghaus is installing a new international board of directors to meet the demands of an increasingly global brand. The team comprises Richard Cotter (president), David Kennedy (CFO), Tina Payne (human resources) and Michael Lockett (vice president for Asia). Other members of the new board are Richard Leedham and David Heath. Leedham has been with Berghaus for 15 years, most recently as sales director for the U.K., and will now lead the newly created region Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA). In his U.K. role he has been replaced by Matt Kemp. The EMEA marketing will be headed by Caroline Smith. After five years with Berghaus, Sarah Sculpher, marketing director, will join Lacoste Chaussures, another brand which is marketed by the Pentland group. David Heath has been appointed vice president and member of the international board in charge of global product and marketing. He will be assisted by Jo Scott, a former Volvo manager.
