Berghaus' new hybrid down jacket made its debut at Ispo this month, created by its MtnHaus design and development team. The lightweight jacket, the ?Mount Asgard Hybrid?, uses hydrophobic down, Primaloft One and Pertex Quantum to provide warmth and comfort in changing weather conditions. Hydrophobic down takes the form of clusters that absorb less water and dry more quickly. It makes up the core of the ?Mount Asgard?, with Pertex Quantum used for the face and Primaloft One as insulation in places that are most likely to get wet, such as hood, shoulders and sleeves. The jacket includes features such as an adjustable hood, an elasticated and adjustable hem drawcord with one-handed closure, an internal security pocket and two handwarmer pockets.
