Black Diamond, the maker of climbing and skiing equipment, has remodeled its headquarters in Salt Lake City, Utah, with energy-saving features, an ERP software upgrade and custom hot forging machinery. It has also built its own nitrogen creation system for laser cutting, which will save money on nitrogen delivery as well as be kinder to the environment. The new distribution center in Zhuhai, China, is nearing completion as well. Black Diamond has chosen Tatoo Adventure Gear to be its exclusive distributor in Chile. Tatoo Adventure Gear is one of the biggest outdoor retail chains in South America, with shops in Chile, Bolivia, Peru, Ecuador and Colombia.
