Bluesign Technologies, the Swiss marketer of a textile industry standard for product safety and sustainability, has again added more manufacturers to its long list of partners from the chemical industry. New supporters of the Bluesign standard are Ding Zing Chemical Products of Taiwan as well as the French Protex International and the American Agion Technologies. Formosa Taffeta has agreed to submit its factories in China and Vietnam to a Bluesign certification procedure. The U.S.-based enterprise Global Merino has joined the club as system partner of the Swiss company, while Hong Yue is the first company that has planned to build a new plant under Bluesign standards on Chinese soil. Among the Western brands, the latest company that has joined the club of Bluesign-approved companies is Maier Sports, the German-based marketer of brands like Maier Sports and Gonso, developers of ski, outdoor and bike apparel.
