Camp, the Italian mountaineering brand, which is celebrating its 120th anniversary this year, is moving into the business of plastic-based snowshoes. The base of “Snow³” is polypropylene while the heels and toes are made of polyamide. The model features an aluminum front crampon and steel lower crampons. Thanks to its innovative system of length regulation, with a simple action the active surface can be decreased or increased according to different snow conditions. The company, based in the town of Premana, is recognizable through its brands: Camp, Cassin and Camp Safety, the group’s branch that provides products for industrial and professional use. Currently the Camp group sells in 77 countries and manufactures in Italy, Poland, Slovakia, China, Taiwan and Vietnam. Globally, 150 people work for Camp.
