Camping Increased During U.S. Crisis

As the American economy was sinking last year, its citizens went camping. A new study by the Outdoor Foundation and the Coleman Company shows that car and backyard camping went up by 7.4 percent in 2008 to 33.7 million Americans over the age of 5 compared with 2007.
