Canada Goose, the Canadian manufacturer of down apparel, is teaming up with The North West Company, a local food retailer, and First Air, the Canadian airline that covers the north of the country, for a charity campaign to the benefit of traditional clothes-makers beyond the Arctic Circle. With the help of its partners, Canada Goose will create two resource centers that will provide local tailors with free fabrics, buttons, zippers and other parts to support traditional northern Canadian practices of the native Inuit population of making jackets and clothing for members of their community.
