Columbia Sportswear’s German operations are separating the distribution of the Columbia and Sorel brands, which used to be represented by the same sales force. It has now appointed Uwe Käthler as the only sales manager of Sorel – a footwear brand that is developing strongly in the fashion segment - for the entire country. For the last nine years, Käthler has served as sales representative for Lacoste Footwear.
