At Baird’s virtual 2021 Global Consumer, Technology & Services Conference, Rocky Brands said the addition of the Muck, Xtratuf, Servus, Neos and Ranger brands is pushing the company further into the fishing category and the booming outdoor market in general. Rocky Brands had bought Honeywell International’s performance and lifestyle footwear business for $230 million last March. The new brands will have little cannibalization in the portfolio, the company said. The integration will focus on streamlining operations for the new brands and looking for synergies in manufacturing and distribution with the group’s Rocky, Georgia and Durango brands.
Rocky Brands has weathered the pandemic well so far. After reporting a surge in first-quarter sales and net income, the company continues to expect full-year sales growth of 20 percent, despite the assumption of a more challenging second half of the year.
