Swedish DTC outdoor brand RevolutionRace will reportedly list on Nasdaq Stockholm this month. Founders Pernilla and Niclas Nyrensten, who currently own 34 percent of the shares, will sell an as-yet-undisclosed amount of shares along with Altor, a Stockholm-based private equity investment firm that currently owns 61 percent. The founders and Altor will retain a majority of their respective stakes, allowing them to participate in the company’s future development after the IPO. RevolutionRace, founded in 2013, has sales of more than SEK 730 million (€72.4m-$88.1m) and states its goal is to reach the SEK 2 billion (€200m-$241m) mark by 2023/2024. Altor also has stakes in other outdoor companies such as the XXL retail chain and the Rossignol Group, which includes Dale of Norway.
