Crocs turns around in the quarter

Crocs surprised investors with better-than-expected sales and profits for the first quarter ended March 31. Its revenues increased by 6.5 percent over the corresponding period a year ago to $279.1 million. On a constant-currency basis, they gained 9.2 percent.
