Buff has joined global environmental organization 1% For The Planet with its CoolNet UV. It means that the brand, which specializes in headwear and neckwear for outdoor enthusiasts, will donate 1 percent of sales from its CoolNet UV to environmental non-profits.
The Buff CoolNet UV is a multifunctional tubular for outdoor work. Designed for warm-weather activities, it delivers UPF 50 protection against harmful UV rays. It is made in Buff’s Barcelona headquarters with 95 percent recycled materials. The fabric is made from post-consumer plastic bottles.
As part of its long-standing environmental commitment, Buff has also supported other organizations that help safeguard the planet, such as The European Outdoor Conservation Association (EOCA) and Protect Our Winters. In 2023, Buff acquired B Corp certification.
