ClimatePartner, headquartered in Germany, is expanding its international market presence with a country office in Italy. Under the leadership of Giorgio Bertolini, sales manager Italy, a team will be established at the future location in Milan to build and expand business with new and existing clients in Italy. ClimatePartner’s services range from the calculation of carbon footprints and the process of climate neutralization to the setting of scientifically based CO2 reduction targets, the initiation of certified climate protection projects and activities in the field of green energy.
Bertolini reports that per capita emissions in Italy are currently 7.3 tons of CO2. “This is well below the 11 tons calculated for Germany, for example, but still many times higher than the slightly more than 1 ton that we theoretically have available globally as a CO2 budget per capita.” With the help of ClimatePartner’s climate protection solutions, Italian companies will in future be able to offer their products with the internationally recognized “climate neutral” label. ”This is an important contribution in the fight against climate change,” says Bertolini.
In addition to the location in Italy, the opening of further branches is planned this year. These include France, Sweden, Spain and the U.S. ClimatePartner GmbH, based in Munich, has already established international locations in Austria, Switzerland, the U.K. and the Netherlands.
