Hohenstein announces new standard to assess the environmental impact of textiles during washing
Hohenstein, the Germany-based provider of textile testing, has worked with project partners Trigema, Freudenberg, DBL ITEX and Paradies to create the DIN SPEC 4872, a new standardized test method for detecting and classifying the fiber release, biodegradability and ecotoxicity of textiles during textile laundering.
