Lowa has created a new “Repair and Resole” program in the U.S. that operates through an online system. Customers who want to repair or preserve their Lowa boots can now place a repair/resole order online to have the products refurbished by Lowa factory craftsmen in Germany. The company gives an approximate turnaround time of 12 weeks and a cost of $125 per repair order. According to Lowa’s U.S. website, the price includes full service (new footbeds, laces, sole and midsole replacement, bumper replacement and anything else needed). The equipment is collected from the Lowa warehouse in Stamford, Connecticut, and shipped to the Lowa repair center in Jetzendorf, Germany. Once repaired, the products are shipped directly from the factory to the customer.  Lowa has a long history of shoe repairs in Jetzendorf. In 2019, the company resoled 16,079 pairs of shoes.
