Effective Oct. 13, Bergans Fritid, the marketer of the Bergans of Norway and the Ally brands, has appointed Helge Flemmen as deputy managing director of the company. The 46-year-old most recently served for Norge-TV, a Norwegian television station owned by the German ProSieben-SAT.1 network. The appointment comes along with the fact that Ragnar Jensen, managing partner of the group, is now 65 and preparing for retirement. Norwegians usually retire at 67. The company says that Jensen is slowing down at the head of the company and is preparing his successor for the job.
