Europarliament Clears Origin Labeling For Shoes
By a large majority, the European Parliament approved a proposal to introduce mandatory origin labeling in the European Union for some products manufactured elsewhere. Goods produced within the EU, Turkey, Switzerland, Iceland, Norway and Liechtenstein would be exempt.
