Arc’teryx Equipment has appointed Chris Tham as the company’s first-ever chief financial officer. In this newly created position, he will report directly to CEO Stuart Haselden. The appointment is effective Feb. 21, 2022. Tham has more than 20 years of finance and strategic planning experience in the global lifestyle industry. Previously, he was CFO at Bailey Nelson, where he led the global finance function, strategic planning, commercial operations and data analytics for the multinational optical retail chain. Prior to that, he led finance in Asia Pacific and EMEA for Lululemon, where he was also instrumental in scaling the company’s financial planning and analytics team and capabilities to support the business during a period of hyper-growth as it grew from $350 million to $2.6 billion in annual revenue in nine years.
