Chris Benchetler

Atomic announced the appointment of longtime athlete, freeskier and artist Chris Benchetler hailing from Mammoth Mountain, California, as its new creative director of freeride and freeski. Benchetler will be responsible for the visual design, creativity, and styling of Atomic’s global freeride and freeski product categories in his new role. The announcement comes shortly after the launch of Atomic’s new Bent Family of freeride and freestyle skis, which has evolved each season since Benchetler’s first signature ski was developed 14 years ago.

“This new role shouldn’t look much different to the past 14 years of design and product development, but I couldn’t be more honored, humbled and excited to take on this role and with it a larger voice in the brand. My goal has always been to make my work with Atomic an authentic extension of my values as an artist and skier and my plan is to continue ensuring that the visuals, creative, design and messaging are on point and always evolving,” Benchetler commented on his new role at Atomic.
