Due to increased customer demand, the Swedish outdoor brand Haglöfs recorded double-digit sales growth in Germany and Austria last year. To further drive the brand’s development in these strategic markets, Matthias Leurs was appointed country manager for Germany and Austria earlier this year. He was previously working at Brooks, The North Face and, most recently, as international sales director at Bergans of Norway, where he was responsible for change processes and the further internationalization of the brand.
