The Schwan-Stabilo Group, which owns the Ortovox, Gonso, Maier Sports and Deuter brands, announced that Anke Buttler has become the group’s new chief financial officer (CFO), joining CEO Sebastian Schwanhäußer as part of the group’s executive management team on Jan. 1. With a degree in business administration, Buttler brings more than 20 years of experience from international companies. She worked for a long time at the consumer goods manufacturer Procter & Gamble and was most recently CFO at Coty, a publicly traded fragrances and cosmetics group headquartered in New York, where she was responsible for Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Buttler succeeds Martin Reim, who left Schwan-Stabilo a year ago.
The group reports that, despite the global effects of the pandemic and the war in Ukraine, it generated sales of €745.3 million in the last financial year (previous year: €623.2 million).
