FAMOUS (ALMOST) LAST WORDS

Icebreaker has proven its sense of irony by announcing that its “Long Sleeve Chase Zip” shirt made it on the front page of Newsweek’s issue of Nov. 23. It is worn by the controversial Sarah Palin, the former Republican candidate for vice president of the United States and former right-wing governor of Alaska. Right next to the Merino shirt it is written: “How do you solve a problem like Sarah? She’s bad news for the GOP [Grand Old Party, the Republicans] – and for everybody else, too.” Apparently not for the Kiwi brand, whom Ms. Palin helped to make it on the cover of a major publication – probably free of charge.
