Geocaching is the name of the game at Garmin’s booth at the OutDoor show: The company is promoting the new game heavily, with some caches even hidden on the venue to make retailers familiar with this trendy GPS-based game. Garmin will support retailers with extensive point of sale material to allow them to promote geocaching in their shops. The campaign will peak with a Garmin-sponsored GPS-festival in Essen, Germany, on Sept. 19-20.
