Icebreaker, the Kiwi specialty brand of merino apparel, announcs various appointments of new managers: Deb Boswel, marketing manager for the U.S., is now marketing director for North America, reporting to Russ Hopcus, president for the same region, and Rosanne Palmisano, vice president for global marketing. Kent Hawkins, formerly serving for Columbia among others, is the new marketing manager for Canada, replacing Frith Campbell, who returned to New Zealand. Steve Gehlen has been named general manager for global e-commerce; he used to be involved in the launch of Nike’s website. Michelle Mitchell and Rosie Futschek, two former Icebreaker executives, have rejoined the Kiwi brand to run the kids division as general manager and product line manager respectively. Shane Woonton joins the company as global sales operations manager.
