Ispo, which will take place from Feb. 6 through 9 at Munich's fairground, welcomes the outdoor community with a rich program of initiatives designed for outdoor-oriented trade visitors. Outdoor continues to be the largest of all categories featured at the trade show, occupying the four eastern halls of the venue. Marmot sponsors the snow, ice & rock summit, which is the meeting point of the outdoor ski and backcountry scene in Hall A6. The summit will offer a choice of discussions, seminars and speeches on issues such as sustainability, mountain rescue and the rocker technology for skis. The industry will come together for drinks, food and music on Feb. 7 after the show. Other events in the outdoor halls are the fashion show and the DAV Boulder Cup. The east entrance will be the stage for the Eco Village, which will present brands and products actively dedicated to topics such as ecology and sustainability. Every day (except Wednesday) there will be guided tours through the village at 11 a.m. in German and 4 p.m. in English. On the opposite side of the venue, Bluesign Technologies will hold its own summit on the necessary steps toward an ecologically responsible textile production.
