It’s the end of END. LaCrosse Footwear announced that it would be discontinuing END Footwear (Environmentally Neutral Design), which it bought in June, and will integrate the brand’s innovative lightweight designs into its LaCrosse and Danner products for autumn 2010. END was a technical outdoor and running brand that followed responsible design. When LaCrosse made the purchase, for about $500,000, it said it planned to grow the END brand.
