Jack Wolfskin and Lafuma have both recruited leading executives in the Netherlands. Marcel Postma started from the beginning of this month as Dutch sales manager at Jack Wolfskin Benelux. For the last two years he was a buyer at Intersport Nederland, dealing with several equipment categories and outdoor apparel and hardware. The Dutch market was previously covered by Alain Deurink, who is based in Belgium and remains the sales manager for Jack Wolfskin in that country. Meanwhile, Martin van Urk was appointed general manager of the Lafuma group in the Netherlands. Until the end of 2006 he worked in the Dutch sales organization of Helly Hansen, and he is now returning to the sports industry after two years in the jewelry business. Succeeding Pascal Meere, Van Urk is in charge of all of Lafuma’s brands except Eider and Millet, which are handled by Outware Trading in Zwijndrecht.
