Jack Wolfskin has joined forces with PrimaKlima, an environmental initiative, to plant trees on a total surface of 100 hectares in Germany, Nicaragua and South Africa. The idea behind the project is the compensation for the CO2 that Jack Wolfskin produced in 2010. Simultaneously, the brand is working on reducing these emissions by 40 percent in 2011 compared with the average in 2006 and 2007. The reduction will come from the use of sustainably produced electric power, the production of solar power and the reduction of airfreight, among many other eco-friendly steps taken and planned by the company.
