Last Thursday, Patagonia opened its first store in Spain. It is located in the Basque city of San Sebastián and is mainly dedicated to boardsports. The selling surface is 220 square meters and it is located near the Playa de Gros beach. Besides the current summer collection, the offer comprises the company's new line of wetsuits as well as surfboards designed by Fletcher Chouinard, the son of Patagonia’s founder, Yvon Chouinard. The San Sebastián store is Patagonia's sixth corporate door in Europe, following those in Chamonix, Munich, Dublin, Prague and Milan.
