Mammut Sports Group will open another single-brand store in Berlin on April 3. As is Mammut’s habit, the 190-square-meter door will not be a corporate store. It will be operated by two local retailers, Andreas Langer and Manfred Hartung, who already run a store in a factory outlet center outside Germany’s capital. Including the Berlin store, Mammut now has three doors in the country; the other two are located in the small Bavarian towns of Kempten and Bad Tölz, and are also run by retail customers. Worldwide, the Swiss company has eight shops, located in Italy, Germany, Switzerland, Japan and the U.S.
