Messe Friedrichshafen, the organizer of the OutDoor show, is preparing its venue and the infrastructural implications for the 16th OutDoor to take place at Lake Constance from July 16-19.

After a provisionary easter entrance for a while, the trade visitors will see a completely new eastern entrance with brand-new conference rooms as well as two new halls that extend the entire exhibiting surface to 85,000 square meters.

After the show was frequently criticized for logistical problems, the municipality of Friedrichshafen and other public authorities are investing more in infrastructure: Effective 2010, there will be an improved access to the venue from the north. Additionally, the southern road will be revamped in the sense that there will be four lanes that head to the venue.

With an increase of 13 percent in new exhibiting brands, the show might be better than ever. A special boost for the image of the show might be the fact that Adidas returns with its outdoor offer to the lake after two years of absence.
