Peak Performance, the largest brand of IC Companys, was not on the list of those that achieved double-digit growth within the group during the third quarter as it reported its results for the period. Total sales increased by 10 percent to 1.1 billion Danish kronor (€147.5m-$208.9m), with wholesale and retail rising by 12 and 8 percent, respectively. Same-store sales fell by 2 percent, but the gross margin at retail improved by 4.3 percentage points. The group’s operating margin (Ebit) declined to 9.1 percent from 9.6 percent a year ago, but net profit grew by 26 percent to DKK87 million (€11.7m-$16.5m). On a currency-neutral basis, total sales went up by only 6 percent, but the total order intake for the summer 2011 collection was up by 11 percent.
