Pierre Comte is taking charge of the French sales subsidiary of The North Face after four years as sales director in charge of strategic accounts. He previously worked for Lafuma. Reporting to Timo Schmidt-Eisenhart, sales director of TNF for Europe, the Middle East and Africa, Comte takes the place of Lucien Hauteville, who has decided to pursue other career opportunities. Hauteville has been with TNF in France for more than 10 years. He became French sales director in 2003 and general manager of the French office in Annecy one year later.
