Columbia Sportswear has extended its presenting partnership with Megamarsch, the long-distance walking event series operated by Infront, through the 2028 season. The renewal builds on a three-year collaboration launched in 2023, during which more than 149,000 participants took part in events across Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Spain.

“Columbia has played a key role in helping us elevate the quality and professionalism of our events,” said Suzanne Dorok, Managing Director at Megamarsch. Matthieu Schegg, VP EMEA at Columbia, added that the partnership allows the brand to connect directly with the hiking community.

Launched in 2023 as Megamarsch presented by Columbia, the partnership integrates the brand into event branding, equipment and on-site activations. The organizers target 64,000 participants in 2026, rising to 74,000 in 2028. The 2026 season begins in late February and will include 27 events featuring 25 km, 50 km and 100 km routes to be completed within 6, 12 or 24 hours.
