On the occasion of World Water Day on March 22, Swedish brand Didriksons is launching a new unisex rain parka called Odin. The model is limited to 150 pieces and will be sold on the brand’s own website and at Zalando.com. Made of a PU-coated woven fabric named Galon, the jacket is cleaned with a damp cloth and not washed, saving about 2,000 liters of water if used for 20 years. Profits from the sale of this limited edition jacket will be donated to Water Aid, an NGO that promotes equal access to clean water, sanitation and hygiene.

Didriksons was founded in 1913 by Julius and Hanna Didrikson as a workwear company for fishermen’s apparel. The company from Borås, Sweden, is now owned by Adelis Equity. The brand is represented in over 19 countries, with one-third of sales generated online.
