German climbing specialist Edelrid is going to market with new products in its “Climb Green” collection. Besides two new PFC-free climbing ropes, the company is introducing a new climbing helmet made entirely of recycled plastics: the shell is manufactured from recycled polyamide originating from the Edelrid rope production; the helmet inner is made from recycled PET. The helmet called Zodiac 3R is aimed at the alpine climbing and Via Ferrata market.
