Remington Arms Company is trying to expand its reach in the outdoor industry with its recent purchase of a 75 percent stake in Mountain Khakis, which makes mountain lifestyle apparel. This will also help Mountain Khakis improve its product development. Its operations will remain based in Charlotte, North Carolina, and Ross Saldarini will continue as president.
