The joint venture Schöffel-Lowa-Sportartikel GmbH & Co. KG, once founded by the two German outdoor companies Schöffel and Lowa, is strategically expanding its store network. Two new shop-in-shop locations opened in southern Germany on Sept. 16 and brought the joint venture’s sales network to 35 (29 in Germany, 4 in Austria and 2 in South Tyrol). The new store-in-store in Müllheim, which measures a good 100 square meters, is located at Sport Haaf, one of the region’s established sporting goods retailers with a total of five stores. The store-in-store in Würzburg, which measures around 170 square meters, is located in the long-established Gebrüder Götz fashion house, which the Walter retail group took over at the beginning of the year.

According to the two equal joint venture partners, the Schöffel-Lowa shop-in-shops offer “all outdoor fans, hikers and athletes a comprehensive range of high-quality and functional clothing as well as shoes and backpacks.” This summer season, Schöffel’s new bike collection was also sold for the first time. With Bikewear, Schöffel is celebrating a premiere this season.

Outside of the established brick-and-mortar network, customers have recently been able to access the new online store at www.schoeffel-lowa.de.
