Following Cardinal Cycling Group’s acquisition of the Time Bicycles business and composites factory from the Rossignol Group last month, Time Bicycles has announced that Bikemotiv will be its exclusive distributor for bicycles and framesets for Spain, Portugal, Andorra, Belgium, Netherlands and Luxembourg.
As reported earlier, the Time brand bicycle and frame business was sold to Cardinal Cycling Group and now operates under the name Time Bicycles, whereas the Time brand pedal business was sold to SRAM Group and now operates under the name Time Sport.
Cardinal Cycling Group is a French-American cycling investment and management group led by French industrial engineer and former elite cyclist Martial Trigeaud and American Tony Karklins, founder of Allied Cycle Works and former CEO of Orbea USA. Time Bicycles’ new Spanish distributor, Bikemotiv, will distribute the product portfolio, consisting of brands such as Amix, Kask, Rotor, Weider, Xplova, etc., to its established dealer network. First product deliveries from Time Bicycles will already arrive in March. Both sides expect a solid product supply by the beginning of the 2021 season.
