Vass is returning to the European market, Angling International has reported. Last month, the U.K.-based fishing rainwear and waders supplier opened its European operations center and warehouse to enable regional retailers to stock its range again. Since Brexit, it has been difficult for anglers in mainland Europe to buy Vass’ products, explains the report. The return to the European market was marked by the brand’s presence at the Carp Den Bosch (formerly Carp Zwolle) trade show in the Netherlands on Jan. 20-22, which also made its comeback after a Covid-induced lay-off. Visitors at the fair could view and try Vass’ products at its stand. The Vass Textile Group, based in Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire, manufactures and distributes raingear and waders to the offshore fishing and tackle trades and other industries.
